A UI 4 based on Android 12 is now being distributed

Samsung has now completed the new One UI 4 operating system based on Android 12 and has started distributing it after a long beta phase. Innovations are mainly about the best perspective for visual customization and security. The One UI 4 will get more than 25 Galaxy smartphones and at least two tablets.

Samsung distributes new One UI 4

In the summer, the beta phase for the new mobile operating system from Samsung, known as One UI 4, based on Android 12, began. This beta phase is now over, so Samsung was able to modify it nicely. The computer site now reports Samsung has begun distributing the One UI 4. It starts with the current best series Galaxy S21 smartphones. Samsung is offering a number of smartphones and tablets with a UI 4 for users who want to accept the update offer and install the new operating system. If you do not notice information about an upcoming update or the information does not appear automatically, you can manually check for software updates in System Options. Galaxy S10 series smartphones are also included, but there are also some A models that will get the update. The following list shows the smartphones that Samsung has already officially confirmed as an option for the One UI 4 update, the devices being offered step by step – two devices tablets:

• Galaxy A42 5G, A52, A52 5G, A52s 5G, A72, A82 5G
• Galaxy Tab S7, Tab S7 +

As with Android 12, one of the new features should be better customization, which includes color palettes and designs of menus, icons and more in One UI 4. There are improvements in widgets that make customization easier. For privacy, there is an additional overview to quickly see which apps can access specific settings. Also, there is new software for some old Galaxy smartwatches as Samsung is also distributing updates for the Tyson operating system for these smartwatches.
