Boris Palmer, the mayor of Dubingen, used the N-word in a comment on Facebook, causing outrage.
He wrote from his personal account, in which he officially called himself “Lord Mayor of the City of T டbingen University” and posted a photo of himself. The post reads: “Ago is a bad racist. Has provided his n ***** tail for women. ”In Palmer’s contribution, the word is pronounced.
Palmer was not the first to use the word in this Facebook exchange, but rather another user quoted. Palmer mentions a screen shot previously posted by another user under a post from Lord Mayor. This screenshot shows an old post a social media user sent to former football player Dennis Ago.
In this post, Ms. Ago accused her friend in Mallorca of recommending her to “treat you with a big n ***** cock” when she was a professional footballer at Hamburger SV. This word is also pronounced in this screenshot. Palmer justified himself on Facebook by quoting a post that can be seen in the screenshot.
The conversation on Facebook began with a post by Palmer, in which he criticized the “abolition of culture” he found as making the people in Germany “obedient talking machines”. After two scandals, Palmer confirmed that Jens Lehmann and Dennis Ago would no longer work for the pay-TV broadcast Sky.

Background: Former national goalkeeper Lehmann accidentally caused an uproar with a message sent directly to Ago. In it he wrote via WhatsApp: “Is tennis really your allotment black?” This sentence was accidentally with a smiling smile in front of the question mark. It is not yet clear to whom he really wanted to send the message.
Ago, who works as an expert on the broadcaster Sky, posted the statement on Instagram: “Wow are you serious? enjenslehmannofficial news does not apply to me !!! A few days later, Ago, a ski expert in front of the camera, used the expression “gas up the train”, and a day later announced his departure as a ski expert.
“Lehman is gone. Ago is gone. Is the world better now? A personal message and thoughtless creation, with two athletes disappearing from the scene,” Palmer wrote on his Facebook post.
On Friday evening, screen shots of Palmer’s latest Facebook comment, including calls for his resignation, were circulated on social media. On Friday evening, SPD general secretary Lars Klingbeal asked on Twitter: “Is the Palmer quote true? If so: Have the Greens already commented on this? “
Since the posts on Palmer’s Facebook account have already been shared several times by the “University City of Dupingen” Facebook account, it can be considered an account maintained by Palmer himself. An official statement from Greens on Palmer’s comments has not yet been released. (with dpa)
