Your PS5 download history is an important part of the system because it shows all the games and applications and their sizes that are currently being downloaded to your console, and estimates how long it will take to complete the current download. Previously with the PS4 this information could be found quickly under the announcements, but if you could buy a PS5 you might have noticed that it is no longer in place. If you are wondering where to find your PS5 download history, we have got the answers so you can manage all your downloads and see how long you have to wait until that new game is installed.
How To Access Your PS5 Download History
To access your PS5 download history, tapping the PS button at any time may bring up the Control Center row icons at the bottom of the screen. Highlight the downloads / uploads with the down arrow, then press X to show the current download in progress. Here, you can press the options to quickly pause all downloads / uploads, which may help if you have network connection quality issues with online games, or press X again to go into your entire PS5 download history.
On the Downloads / Uploads screen, you can see all the ongoing and pending downloads and uploads. Unlike the PS4, your PS5 will only actively download one game or app at a time, however you can select the option to start downloading / copying by pressing X by highlighting an item in your PS5 download history and prioritize any other downloads, or cancel if you no longer need them.
