There are about 190 games with Trojan integrated in various genres in the Huawei AppGallery. In total, more than 9.0 million users have downloaded these games. Some of these games are aimed at Russian users and others at Chinese or international audiences.
Apps with this Trojan will ask users for specific permission, e.g. B. To Recover Phone Data. Once authorized, the Trojan can collect user data and send it to a remote service, including:
- The user’s mobile phone number
- Device location based on GPS coordinates or data from a cellular network and WiFi access point (if the application has permission to access the location)
