Bad news coming alone?
The news comes to us directly from the studio’s Twitter account. We do not know what internal turmoil may have led to this postponement, but the remaining upgrades to the next gen version will be in CD Projekt. Saber Interactive, which was initially responsible for this version, was therefore removed from the program.
We have decided to hand over the rest of the work to our internal development team for the next gen edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. We are currently evaluating the amount of work that needs to be done, so the Q2 release should be postponed until further notice. We will let you know as soon as possible. Thanks for understanding.
Developers will let us know about the situation as soon as possible. In the meantime, you have to be patient to play at 4K 60 FPS on the Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunting Available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. The game can be played with backward compatibility on the Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5.
