Microsoft and the company’s gaming division have long been accused of having one major flaw when competing with Sony and Nintendo: the lack of exclusive games. That changed abruptly with the acquisition of Genimax Media by the acquisition of studios such as Benista, ID Software, Arcane, and Machine Games by Microsoft. This means that in the future the game series like Doom, Wolfenstein, Dishonord, Fallout and Elder Scrolls will be exclusive to Xbox and PC.
That’s not enough, Microsoft’s top gamer Bill Spencer is in conversation with him now The Wall Street Journal Said. Spencer said they still have an eye on potential candidates: “We are always looking for people who are right for us and teams that fit our strategy, so we’re not ready there yet.”
Thanks for the cloud everyone
Spencer also talked about other aspects of Microsoft’s gaming business that, of course, focus on the Xbox Game Pass and Cloud Gaming. The latter in particular is an important trump card, says Spencer: “I hope everyone in the world who wants to play for a long time can open these games to the cloud.”
According to Microsoft Manager, for some, the cloud is the only way to get their Xbox games, because according to Microsoft Manager: “It’s true that the Xbox Series X or Series S will sell immediately when it’s running. We’re working hard to replace it.”
