Over the past few hours, many Android smartphone users have reported difficulties in properly executing their apps. The problem can be fixed with a simple update.
Open an app and it will disappear immediately. Many users of Android smartphones have noticed these unexpected closures on the morning of March 23 with Gmail or many other services. As confirmed by Google’s service level dashboard, its crews were alerted to the issue at midnight.
Fault reporting site Downtector, But on Twitter, French Internet users mentioned the subject of Gmail, one of the Android apps that could not be opened. Others trigger the inability to open Google’s search engine or access other applications such as Teaser, Amazon or Dictoc.
According to Google groups, the culprit is none other than Android System WebView, a computer component of Android used to display web content in applications. They claim to have fixed the problem by fixing this software.
For its apps to work properly, Google recommends two updates to its official app store, the Play Store: One From his Chrome browser, And of course it is d’Android System WebView.
