The Apple Watch may eventually offer a series of walking exercises that will be done when the opportunity arises. This is a new option that appeared with the current beta of iOS 14.4 and watchOS 7.3.
In application settings Exercise There is a “walking” option to automatically download exercises involving walking on the clock (perhaps at a certain speed, for a certain period of time, or at a certain distance?) When the exercise is over, it will be removed from the list.
We do not yet have the details of this option. It seems to be tied to Fitness +, although Apple’s new service is not explicitly mentioned. However, this system appeared to one of us in Canada, where fitness + is available.
In the set of functions offered in Fitness +, some are designed to walk on the treadmill. And you can usually download content on your iPhone or iPod, but nothing is planned for the watch alone.
At the moment, nothing in Fitness + is related to this new option, and it is interesting to note that this option is not available for outdoor running or cycling. Both of these measures lend themselves well to the suggestions and challenges posed by the clock.
