Google makes it difficult to install apps that are not available in the Play Store.
Rough installation for side load versions
According to an email Google sends to WearOS developers, page loading from March 10 onwards will be more complicated. After that, WearOS versions cannot be installed directly from the smartphone app without great effort. Conversely, apps that are no longer available in the Play Store require methods such as the Android Debug Bridge (ADB), which tells very few users anything.
It’s not surprising that Google is now gaining more control over its applications and devices.
