The PS5 controller can now be updated on the system

PC players have the option to upgrade to DualSense without having to go through PS5.

This software allows you to plug in their DualSense controller via USB, download the latest firmware update from Sony’s servers, and use it on the controller. Previously, gamers could only update dualSense firmware via the PS5, but the new software, in theory, allows you to use DualSense on your PC and keep it up-to-date with the PS5.
