How can users improve the sound on Spotify? You can learn more about it here.

Be it metal, classical, hip-hop or techno, Spotify users can listen to millions of songs from a wide variety of genres. Music streaming service is one of the most popular in the world. With these tips, listeners can get even better sound in their ears.

Adjust the sound quality

Users of both free and premium offers can use the app to set the standard for streaming or downloading music (premium only). To do this, go to “Settings” via “Start” and then to “Sound Quality”. Here listeners can choose between “automatic”, “low”, “normal” and “high”. Added “too much” for premium users.

If the quality is set to the best value, the songs will be streamed or downloaded at a higher bit rate. However, it does use more data volume or more storage on the smartphone. “Automatic” does the whole thing depending on the existing network connection.

Use balance

Using the balancer, users can adjust the sound to their own preferences, for example, to emphasize the bass. If Android users find and balance the functionality in the same submenu, they will be redirected to the smartphone’s audio settings. iOS users can tap “Start” / “Settings” / “Playback” and find what they are looking for here. The sound can be adjusted manually or with presets such as “Classic”, “Electronic” and “Dance”.

Listen to music offline

As already mentioned, users can also download playlists, albums or podcasts, for example they do not have to use any data size while moving. However, for those who use the free offer, only podcasts are available for download. For example, tap the “Download” button or the “down arrow” icon in the playlist. However, users must go online every 30 days so that downloads are not deleted.

Sleep with music

If you want to sleep with good music or podcast, you can also set a sleep timer so that playback will stop automatically after a certain time. To do this, tap on the three dots above the currently running content and select “Sleep Timer”. For example, users can now decide whether to stop playback after 15 minutes or after the song is finished.
