Mayor of Palma Campania Donarumma warns: “We are exhausted”
“High school students have been back in attendance since this morning, which is an important test for everyone from schools to transportation, but my fear is that the lack of restrictions on stations, bus stops and schools outside will inevitably lead to meetings. Eve has written a letter to municipalities asking for cooperation, but municipalities Have been jumping through the rings for a year, with staff shortages and no way out: someone has to take care of them and help them, and before imposing responsibilities ”.
This was announced by Nello Donarumma, Mayor of Palma Campania, who intervened in the reopening of the first-coming schools on February 1st.
According to Donarumma: “The real problem for schools is that the infection comes from outside, especially from congested traffic routes, which will return to bring students from neighboring regions to Palma Campania from Monday: we appreciate the increased eve rides, but we are well structured and organized by the regional and metropolitan city. Instead everything has been handed back to the municipalities, some of the mechanisms that each company has and to the men, the volunteers.
