We announced last week about the upcoming updates for Zionics’ current arcade title Rocket League. First, there is a collection of Ratchet & Clang: Rift-inspired cosmetics are available for free in the game (provided to you as soon as you get to the main menu), which is pretty cool, isn’t it? The second update announced 120fps mode when playing on the PlayStation 5, which was quietly delayed, but we are happy to report that it is now available with the latest connection.
Patch 2.02 is now ready to download and install, and it introduces performance mode with various bug fixes. From the Settings menu, you can go to the Video tab, where you will find two options: Performance and Quality. Running performance game with slightly reduced resolution at 120fps (of course if you have a compatible display), the standard is the standard 60fps experience in full 4K.
So here you are: If you are wondering where 120fps mode is, it is now in the game – download the latest patch and you’re good to go. Are you using Rocket League Performance Mode on the PS5? Tell us in the comments section below.
