Alice Vinocher’s brilliant Proxima goes on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download on November 23rd.
The story follows Sara (Green), a French astronaut at the European Space Agency in Cologne. The only woman in the rigorous training program, she has been selected as part of a one-year space travel team called ‘Proxima’. As his relationship with his seven-year-old daughter Stella (played by the great newcomer Jelly Bowland-Lamesley) takes on great stress and the life-changing launch gets even closer, training begins to affect both of them.
