Nintendo reaffirmed last week that it has plans for another console after the switch. During the question and answer session of the Financial Decisions Conference held last week, an investor asked a question about the next generation console and sought to know more about the company. Nintendo President Shundaro Furukawa responded and began talking about the current switch situation. Although she is about five years old, she says “the console is in the middle of its life cycle” and “has established a basis for growth that goes beyond what we previously thought was the life cycle. Conventional hardware.”
When it comes to a new game mode, there is not much to say to Furukawa.
We are unable to comment on the next game system at this time. It’s been five years since the launch of the Nintendo Switch, with sales topping 90 million consoles. We recognize that the console is in the middle of its life cycle. Nintendo Switch – The release of the OLED model also helped keep pace with sales, and we now offer consumers three Nintendo Switch models with their game styles and lifestyles and a wide variety of Nintendo Switch models. In doing so, we hope to lay the groundwork for growth beyond what we have previously seen as a regular hardware life cycle. When it comes to the next game console, we look at different things, but when it comes to feedback and release timelines we can still share nothing.
