Another test run for the AV1 has begun
Smart TVs that officially support AV1 encoding and decoding, as well as those provided with Netflix via the PlayStation 4 Pro (trial), will be able to access “broadcast” content via AV1 in the first phase.
Our initial release included several AV1 capable TVs and PS4 Pro connected TVs. We are working with external partners to operate more and more devices for AV1 streaming.
