Developed by Environmental Design, ArtRage Vitae is a digital drawing and painting software whose main feature is to render the texture of paint and canvas as realistic as a physical medium.

The software is available in the desktop version for Windows and Mac, but also integrates with the tool’s impressive palette for customizing paints and brushes, especially in mobile applications for Android and iOS. A color wheel makes it possible to adjust the desired colors and stencils to easily reproduce shapes. A glitter tool sprays colored dots when you apply the stickers quickly.

ArtRage Vitae Interface

In addition to providing a realistic rendering of paint texture and grain of paper, ArtRage Vitae has another unique feature: its interface. Unlike other digital drawing software that has tools on either side of the workspace, ArtRage Vitae displays its key features, namely brushes and colors, in 2 quadrants located in the lower left and right corners. This innovative system is inspired by the artist’s color palette, allowing you to quickly select different parameters and their colors by selecting a brush, pencil or brush, sequins or stencils with a single click.

In addition to providing a variety of drawing tools, this quadrilateral allows you to quickly adjust the size of the selected tool and access the Settings button to display advanced settings.

What are the key features of ArtRage Vitae?

ArtRage Vitae therefore includes a wide range of tools, the main tools of which are drawing and sketching: pencil, brush, paint brush etc.

So you have a brush to paint with oil or watercolor, its pencil, a roller, a palette knife, an airbrush, an ink pen, a globe pen, a tube glitter or stickers. At the level of the tool configuration parameters, the user can choose the stroke style, thickness, pressure, opacity and consistency.

ArtRage Vitae also supports layer management, which is found in many graphic software, and allows you to create composites and return them to different components for editing. In addition, keep in mind that you can integrate an image in the background, for example create the exterior of a form and then hide the photo. After all, by recreating the grain of paper for a precise arrangement, the background texture can be chosen. Additionally, when you move your brush multiple times in one place, you can see the layering effect just like on a real canvas.

Other great features include selection tools, add text volume, fill tool, color gradients, glitter and stencils.
