Retro developer Thalamus has vaguely announced that he will be working on C64 games for the Nintendo Switch.
If you think of the Commodore 64 generation with happy nostalgia, this news will make you happy. An indie developer teased me for creating C64 games for the Nintendo Switch.
Still retro for the switch?
Developer and publisher Dalmus Digital specializes in retro games and already owns several 8- and 16-bit games in the Commodore 64 and Amiga portfolio. For example, Sanxion, Armalyte, Creatures or Nobby the Aardvark.
In a tweet, the developer announced that it would be somewhat vague to say more about this in the coming year. He gave no hint – not even in the hashtags!
You heard the C64 games on the Nintendo Switch.
We asked.
Please wait.

“You asked about the C64 games for the Nintendo Switch. We listened. Wait,” Thalamus Digital’s brief tweet said. So as always: wait and see and drink tea.
Not much to say about this. Which C64 games do you like the most? Feel free to write it in the comments.
