He heard a strange noise from outside his apartment. When he looked out of the balcony of his house to understand what was going on, he was surprised to see a motor vehicle unloading garbage bags during the day when work was underway to build a building. So the person filmed everything on his cell phone and a police report was filed.
After a series of inspections, Bodenza’s forest police found a 220-square-meter, fast-growing residential area inside a construction site that looked like pictures taken by a citizen.
Investigations confirmed that the purpose of the building contractor doing the work was to bury the special chemical waste within the concrete casting useful for the future construction of the building. In fact, the waste was dumped using an excavator and flattened and covered with concrete that had been removed by the concrete mix.
The area concerned was seized and the building contractor was prosecuted for illegally managing the unauthorized waste.
