Apple releases MacOS Pixar 11.2 with bug fixes – it-blogger.net

Apple has released an update to the MacOS Big Sur 11.2 this evening. The update improves Bluetooth reliability and fixes various issues. The update, among other things, fixes a bug where external monitors would display a black screen when connected to the Mac Mini via an HDMI-to-DVI converter. It also fixes the issue of not saving edits for Apple Prora photos in the Photos app. Also, Apple fixes an issue where iCloud Drive can turn off desktop and document folders after disabling iCloud Drive. We also addressed a problem with system settings not opening when you enter an administrator password. Apple has fixed an issue where the emoji and icons area will not show when the globe button is pressed. This update also fixes security holes. macOS Big Sur 11.2 improves Bluetooth reliability and fixes the following issues:

  • External displays may display a black screen when connected to the Mac Mini (M1, 2020) from HDMI to TV converter.
  • Edits for Apple Prora photos in the Photos app may not be saved.
  • iCloud Drive iCloud Drive can be turned off after disabling the Desktop & Documents folders option.
  • System preferences do not open when you enter your administrator password.
  • The Globe key does not show the Emoji & Icons panel when pressed.

Some features may not be available for all regions or all Apple devices.
