The Darigan flashback is set to be released on the Nintendo Switch (even our test).
Through an interview between Eurogame and Julian Ecroft (the creator of Factor 5 Studios) we learn that for a time, it was planned exclusively on GameCube, next to Duricon but entirely in 3D! This spiritual ensemble, called the Tornado, proposes a universe similar to that of Tarragon, but in a 3D world. But in the end Nintendo stopped the project, believing that the Factor 5 team was not enough to create such a game and that it (Nintendo) wanted Factor 5 to focus its efforts on the release of the Rock Leader. So the Tornado project froze and there was little hope of finding a demo of the game, which would have only worked on the first prototypes of Flipper or Dolphin (code names of GameCube).
However, Factor 5 has expressed interest in reclaiming the Darigan rights and indicates that Ecroft is interested in owning a smaller version of the Mario Maker in a new 2D Tarigan…
He insists on wanting to create a beautiful game in 2D rather than 3D. According to him, giving players the opportunity to create their own levels will give them full excitement and allow fans to create levels because they will provide a new experience for old and new players as they are remembered. …
Let’s see what happens in the future, while we look forward to the release of the Darien Flashback, still planned for tomorrow!
