On the proposal of Minister of Culture Rima Abdul Malak and Minister of Higher Education and Research Sylvie Retailio, the President has appointed Eric de Sassi as the Director General of the National Institute of Art History (INHA) for a third term. )
Since 2016, under the leadership of Eric de Sassi, INHA has undergone a major transformation. It has become the first documentary center in the field of art history and its research projects are open to major social issues. It has created national and international partnerships, such as the Cultural Forum for Ukraine. INHA has been able to renew its audience through innovative scientific and cultural events, notably the Fontainebleau Art History Festival, or the creation of training tools, especially graduations for secondary school teachers.
This third mandate, lasting three years, will allow Eric de Sassi to continue the momentum of making INHA a leading institution and a globally recognized model, for example by improving its position as a national and international unifying player. A history of art on a European scale. It will continue and expand initiatives already taken to support the dissemination of knowledge, training or support to young researchers, and strengthen research programs around the most innovative issues for which INHA has distinguished itself.
