The WhatsApp app, which allows you to receive messages from around the world, has more than 2 billion users worldwide. From May 31st, Android and iOS versions will no longer be compatible with some mobile phones that are considered obsolete.

It is official, WhatsApp application is evolving. However, this new version will exclude some users because it is no longer compatible with older versions of Android and IOS of your smartphones.

If your phone is old, WhatsApp may not work. For other models, apps have reduced support for versions older than Android 4.1 or iOS 10. So, if it is already installed on your mobile phone, WhatsApp may still work with some malfunctions.

Here is a list of smartphones whose operating system is no longer supported by WhatsApp with an earlier version of iOS or Android:

Lеnоvо А820, ZТЕ V956 – UМі Х2, Нuаwеі Аѕсеnd D2, Gnd G740, Ascend Mate, Fаеа F1, rаhіnum, НТС Dеѕіrе 500, ѕаmѕung Gаlахy еr Gala, 2 . How to know if your smartphone is infected?

To continue to use WhatsApp Messenger, you need to do minor manipulations on the settings of your Android or iOS smartphone to check if your phone has the correct version. For iPhones, you need to go to the menu, then go to Settings, then “Info”. Your software version will be displayed on the screen. For Android users, go to your Samsung settings and press “System”, then “System Update”. The Android version will appear on the screen of your smartphone.

To update your Android smartphone, go to your mobile phone settings. Go to the “Settings” application and then to “System” and “Advanced Settings”. Finally, to check for a possible update, click “System Update” and download it.

If you have an iPhone and need to upgrade your operating system, back up your phone data to iCloud. Connect your iPhone to its main charger and connect it to the WI-FI network. Tap the “Settings” app on the iPhone. Then go to the “General” menu.

Then go to “Software Update” and tap “Download and Install”. You will get the latest iOS update.
