Adata subsidiary XPG will display a mouse prototype called Vault at CES, which contains large NAND memory. This allows players to move their game collection from one computer to another.
It will be back in a week and a half: CES 2022 will take place from January 5th to 8th, as usual, many products will be announced again and prototypes will be delivered this time. Among other things, there may be announcements from AMD, Intel and Nvidia, but many smaller companies need to showcase their new developments at the exhibition. For example, Adota subsidiary XPG not only wants to showcase new products at CES 2022, but also includes an extraordinary prototype.
XPG Vault – Mouse with NAND storage
According to the company’s press release, visitors to the XPG booth can view a gaming mouse called Vault, which has up to 1 TB of NAND storage. Players can store their game collection in it so they can move it quickly from one computer to another.

The XPG Vault must be connected to the respective computer via USB-C and convert game data up to 985 MB / s. Nothing about the other technology has been released, but the transfer rate says that XPG has developed the SD Express card on the Vault mouse. Players can access these using software developed by XPG so they can manage and use the stored game collection.

So far, XPG Vault has not really revealed whether it should be built as a finished product or stick with the prototype. For most file transfers, a classic external storage media is the most attractive choice because the mouse and cable are too hard for quick and easy transport.
