Windows Insiders on the Developer Channel can now download and test Windows 11 Build 22494. New in this preliminary version is a convenient functionality for Microsoft teams.
You can turn off and restart the microphone with a single click via the icon in the system tray when you are on a call or video conference. This functionality is initially only available for the business version of the groups, and the individual customer version will be supported later. In addition, it is again a function that can only be seen by a portion of those who are initially local.
Microsoft writes that it can be used by other communications tools as well, so it is explicitly controlled from Windows 11 via the API.
As usual, the current Insider build has a lot of bug fixes and minor changes. As always, the full changelog can be found Windows Blog Can read.
