The frame has a dual aluminum beam, but now gets Important updates designed for the purpose of the trip. For example, we see a new rear subframe, which is designed to provide more space for the rider and passenger seats and is designed to attach side bags (36 liters each). The swingarm, in aluminum, is the GSX-R1000. For greater ride comfort, the handle is positioned 14mm closer to the rider’s body than the GSX-S1000F and is 23mm wider. The rider (which is 810mm from the floor) and the passenger seats have also been redesigned. The latter can now also rely on comfortable side handles for grip during travel. To reduce vibrations, the steering plate on the handle has rubber shims and rubber covers are fixed on the footrests.

As for the suspensions, we see the previous link: the Kayaba upside down 43mm fork, fully adjustable and with 120mm travel, and the rear mono only adjustable on the front and mount. However, both units have been modified in the system. The braking system remains the same, driven by dual 310mm front discs and premo monoblock 4-piston calipers axle pump. Unavoidable ABS, from Bosch.

The tank has a capacity of 19 liters. The rims are made of 17 ”aluminum and are fitted with Dunlap Roadsport 2 tires in sizes 120/70 and 190/50 as original equipment. Weight increases in the running line: 226 kg against 215 for the 2015 GSX-S1000F.
