All information about Diablo 2 Resurrection Beta! Source: Blizzard
It was announced that there would be an open beta for Diablo II in June: resurrected in the second half of the year. Today we are pleased to reveal the full details of the beta and when players can participate. Here are all the important dates:
- Initial Access Vochenende – 13. August, 7:00 pm CEST – Pre-ordered Diablo II: Windows PC, Xbox Series X | Diablo Prime Evil Collection for S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4.
- Beta Weekend – August 20, 7:00 pm CEST – All players who download the game on PC, Xbox or PlayStation will be able to enjoy the Diablo II: Resurrected beta this weekend. There will also be the opportunity to test cross-platform cross-progress.
There are two additional playable classes in both phases of the Open Beta. Massive armor, sacred ballad and wild, shape-changing Druid are now playable with barbarians, Amazon and witches. In addition, up to eight friends can fight the forces of hell together online or challenge each other in PVP during the open beta.
The open beta only covers the first two actions of the game. However, there is no level limit and, therefore, all participants can remain as they see fit and experiment with different structures and characters until the end of the open beta.
Blizzard again clearly indicates that playable content is still a version in development.
