FRITZ! Box manufacturer AVM today released a maintenance update for FRITZ! For OS 7.28 FRITZ! Box 7580. Update includes bug fixes and upgrades to phone, WLAN, USB and computer areas, which can be found below. Among other things, the modified requirements for Google authentication have been fixed and a bug that prevented the network drive connection from being installed with MacOS Big Sur 11.3 has been fixed. Update for FRITZ! OS 7.28 for FRITZ! Box 7580 can now be installed with a single click via the FRITZ user interface! AVM recommends that all users check FRITZ! Box’s Mesh Overview to see if there are any updates for other FRITZ! Repeaters, Powerline or FRITZ! Products like Fon. These updates will be displayed on FRITZ! Box start page. With each update, AVM improves security, so it is recommended that every user do the update as soon as possible. Update for FRITZ! OS 7.28 for FRITZ! Box 7580 is now FRITZ! Available for download via Box User Interface and AVM. Open FRITZ’s user interface! Box -> Enter fritz.box in the web browser and login -> Click on Helpers -> Update -> Start the update by clicking New FRITZ! Follow OS and new instructions Fritz! OS.
