Microsoft is releasing office updates for August 2021

Microsoft released two non-security updates this evening, Office 2013 and Office 2016. All updates released in Part 1 of Patchday for August 2021 are custom updates for Visio 2013 and 2016. It is best to use the Microsoft Update to download and install updates automatically. . Security updates do not need to be installed, as recommended by Microsoft. Microsoft released the following non-security updates for Microsoft Office on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 as part of the Connection Day for August 2021. These updates are designed to help users keep their PCs safe and up to date. Updates from the Microsoft Download Center are for the MSI based Office version only. For Office click-to-run versions, updates will be installed automatically.

• Update for Microsoft Visio 2016 (KB4504718) – This update fixes an issue in which you receive the following error message while running Document.ExecuteLine mode. This problem occurs after you install the March 2021 updates for Office.
• Update for Microsoft Visio 2013 (KB4504728) – This update fixes an issue in which you receive the following error message while running Document.ExecuteLine mode. This problem occurs after you install the March 2021 Office Updates.
