Previewing KB5004293 for Microsoft Windows 10 version 1909

July 29, 2021 – KB5004293 (OS Build 18363.1714) Preview

This security non-upgrade includes quality improvements. Major changes include:

• Updates issue that prevents gaming services from opening certain games to desktop users.
• Updates an issue that prevents power programs and game mode from working as expected. This results in lower frame rates and reduced gaming performance.
• Updates an issue where File Explorer stops working after 99% completion when you delete multiple files on a graphical network drive.
• After you connect to a virtual private network (VPN) it updates an issue where you can no longer detect if you are connected to the Internet.
