With the launch candidate (RC) for iOS 14.6 (iPhone and iPod Touch) and iPados 14.6 (for iPod), Apple has made the MacOS 11.4 (Mac) release candidate (RC) available.
The launch candidate will be identical to the final version, which will be available to everyone. With this version, developers have the opportunity to test whether their applications are working properly before the release of the final version. The final version will be released soon.
The update will support paid subscriptions for Apple podcasts, support for graphics cards based on the AMD Navi RDNA2 configuration (6800, 6800XT and 6900XT) and more.
macOS 11.4: Changelock
macOS Big Sur 11.4 adds Apple Podcast subscriptions and channels, as well as important bug fixes.
Podcasts
- Apple Podcast subscriptions are available for purchase through monthly and annual subscriptions
- Channels is a collection of programs by podcast makers
This release also fixes the following issues:
- Bookmarks in Safari can be rearranged or moved to a folder that appears to be hidden
- Some websites may not display properly after waking up your Mac
- Words may not be included when exporting a photo from the Photos app
- Preview does not respond when searching for PDF documents
- The 16-inch MacBook may stop responding when reading Civilization VI
