Serious Injury: Truck semitrailer collides head-on with tractor trailer at Weiner Strait near NS

A serious traffic accident between a truck and a tractor trailer, which came loose from a tractor, occurred Wednesday morning at Weiner Strauss near Ennes (Linz-Land District).

The crash occurred at Weiner Strauss between Ness and Aston in Nice Municipality.
“At 10:00 am on March 17, 2021, a 50 – year – old man from Amsterdam drove his farm tractor and trailer towards the Lower Austria in Weiner Strait in the municipality of Nice. The truck driver was trapped in the car and rescued by firefighters, police said.
The truck driver was brought to UKH Linz after emergency medical treatment. The fire brigade then carried out a clean-up operation at the scene of the accident.

Weiner Strauss closed until the afternoon between Aston and NS Car traffic shifted locally. Heavy vehicles had to wait for the boot period.
