The American web company Google announced on its official blog last night that the standard version of Google Chrome for Windows, MacOS and Linux is available at 89.0.4389.90. The update only includes bug fixes and stability improvements to make Google Chrome more reliable and secure, so no new features are expected. With this update 5 important security holes in Google Chrome have been fixed. Google is aware of reports that exploitation for CVE-2021-21193 is in the wild. Update for version 89.0.4389.90 is available for download via the integrated update function and via the official website. Users who have installed an older version of Google Chrome will receive an update automatically, as it is now provided via the update function. If you do not want to wait too long, you can start the update manually: Open Chrome and click on the three-point menu in the top right corner -> Help – then about Google Chrome -> This dialog box will open, Chrome searches for updates -> If you get an update, Click Restart to do that.
