Google releases Chrome 88.0.4324.150 for desktop with bug fixes – it-blogger.net

In the evening Google announced the availability of the standard version 88.0.4324.150 for Google Chrome for Windows, MacOS and Linux. This update fixes bugs and security fixes found in previous versions, so new features are not expected. In the new version, an important security hole is closed with older versions of Google Chrome with CVE-2021-21148. Google is aware of reports that exploitation for CVE-2021-21148 is in the wild. The update to version 88.0.4324.150 is available for download via the integrated update function and via the official website. Users who have installed an older version of Google Chrome will automatically receive the update as it is now provided via the update function.
