After winning 6 consecutive world titles with Jonathan Rhea at SPK, for 2021 Ninja ZX-10R It does not regret, but gets some refinement. It looks very dynamic, and now features the inspired sharp nose of its supercharged sister H2, with small LED headlights embedded in the sides of the central air intake. The side exhibitions are also new, with a large opening on both sides, and the tail, very large. Innovative “invisible” aerodynamic paddles are integrated into this bike in a reasonable configuration. These channel the airflow and create about 17% more downhill than the previous ninja. The rear section design has also been slightly modified to create a lower pressure area behind the ride. The saddle has now been redesigned to allow for a better aerodynamic position when bending behind a 40mm high windshield. The engine is a 998cc four cylinder as we know it, but is now Euro 5 synchronized. Gear ratios have been improved, 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears have been compressed, and the final drive uses a sprocket with two more teeth (vs. 41 of previous version 39). The exhaust system in the manifold area has been modified and the silencer is 126 mm long. The design of the intake pipe and air-cooled oil cooler developed by KRD (bottom, left) is also new. Maximum power is always 203 hp (213 is under pressure with the airbox), but now at 300 rpm it was 13,200 rpm. The maximum torque is 114.9 Nm, But at 11,400 rpm it was rated at 200 rpm. Thanks to the new ride with wire-driven control, there are now four ride modes that are selected via the buttons on the handle (bottom, center): Sports, Road, Shower and Rider, the latter being fully customizable.
Travel restrictions are also standard. The frame remains the same as the double aluminum beams, but the chassis undergoes some modifications: the path is reduced by 2mm (now 105mm), the swingarm anchor point is less than 1mm (adjustable on the RR) and the swingarm is more than 8mm. We see the suspensions of the current model: horizontal “mono” with PFRC gas shock absorber with shower free fork and separate tank with 43mm inverted shafts with external compression chamber, both fully adjustable. However, their structure changes: the front has smooth adjustment and stiffness of the shock absorber. The Brembo braking system also does not change, using two 330mm front discs and single 220mm rear discs with a single-piston caliper fastened by M50 monoblock 4-piston radial calipers, although it uses newer brake pads. Modified the rear brake oil reservoir to create less interference with the boot. Weight change: 206 kg. The lighting system uses full LED and Mitsubishi lights. The new 4.3 ”color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity has been introduced on the back of the fair (bottom, right). Hot grips are available as options.
