Your career as a player?

While all the kids were exchanging their precious NES bullets on the playground, it wasn’t too hard on family finances. Suddenly, my first bike was kindly given to me by a friend of the family, one of the hardest and oldest that seemed straight to me from the post-war period: the Atari 2600. A while ago I pulled my face and when I was asked to resign myself to the sand to the polar position, I clenched my fists, my friends Super Mario Brothers tell me about games.

Then my brother and I were lucky enough to be given a Master System 2 after a while. A little revenge on life and NES made me an avid supporter of the Seka clan. Megadrive, Game Gear and Mega CD brightened my young years, and I violated my principles by welcoming a Super Nintendo into my teenage room until the end of the 16-bit reign.

Over the years, my console groups have grown without distinction of brands, and I ended up playing in most of the media that made up the history of video games. In short, I am a comforter at heart, but I spent a long time in arcades, opening my heart to PC a few years ago.

The origin of your nickname?

The question of accepting a nickname arose when my friend Puyo appointed me. But since I always use my first name as a signature, we decided to pursue this. Then it has the advantage of having an unusual first name: people do not need to find a nickname to give you back. Isn’t this Nicola?

Your relationship with GameCult?

I have been studying Camcolt since 2002. Even when I worked as a journalist for Geeksvideo.fr, I always carried that site in my Kokoro. So, it’s very natural that I agreed to host an article in GK in 2016 entitled “Virgil But Perfect” and I am proud to join him today as a journalist.

What are your best memories of video games?

Damn, there are a lot! But to choose from, I will remember more than those whole nights spent with all sorts of fighting games with my old friends until the wee hours of the morning. We set aside our free time for it or not far away. Also has all the hints of the genre. From Mortal Combat to Street Fighter, crossing the first KOF, Versus de Capcom, Virtue Fighter, Doble, Competitive Schools and all the shooting stuff like Rise of the Robots or Clay. We were hungry for the fight game. Years of slaughtering us, emptying the gallon of soft drinks, and dumping them in the trash. This is a good time!
