A 73-year-old man is said to have stabbed his 71-year-old wife to death while under the influence of alcohol in Ashchak und der Stair (Stair-Land district). The investigation is ongoing.
The incident is said to have taken place on Sunday night or early Sunday morning in a small single-family home outside the center of Ashok under Steer.
According to KronenZeitung in its online version, relatives reportedly found the 71-year-old’s body at lunchtime and alerted emergency services. The husband is said to have admitted the truth.
Police have not yet released any information about the incident.
