Note that Intel is not made with its Tiger Lake-H chips. The American giant promises that the second batch of high-performance 10nm processors will be coming soon. In this case, Intel could use the Computex 2021 to release these new chips. For their part, they need to protect themselves from large TDPs of 45 W, and among other things, replace the Core i9-10980HK and i7-10875H. To be continued …
AMD Announcements: A mixed but promising range
AMD is eagerly anticipating, and its conference at CES will be the occasion of many announcements, including the launch of the new Raison mobile processors.
While the team briefly mentioned the arrival of the new dedicated GPUs for laptops (with the idea of competing with the new RTX 3000 Max from Nvidia), it was, above all, the group’s new low-consumption CPUs, codenamed “Chechen”, which drew attention and was in a deliberately different range. The latter actually focuses on the majority of chips under the Gen3 architecture (the panel’s latest design, used for the Raison 5000 desktop processors), but there are still some specifications in the older Gen2 architecture.
