Psychological Thriller Dry sink It will be leaked to the Nintendo Switch early next year, and it has been confirmed.
Following the successful introduction of the game to the computer, VLG Publishing brings this mysterious visual novel to Nintendo’s site with “completely redesigned English localization language track and improvements to the user interface”. It has fared well with users on Steam and has received ‘very positive’ reviews since its launch last year, although reviewer reviews ranged from positive to mixed.
Dry Sink is a visual novel that looks entirely at the future dominated by dark forces in positions of power. The aim is to immerse these athletes in the world of Mordecai Foley – a complex private detective with a truly shadowy past – and lift the lid on a serial killer who takes on goals in a dystopian future. Weighed down by its own dark history, Foley’s world is one caught up in tyranny, where the hunger for power sinks completely to the bottom as a result of the zenith of society.
The game, which has a script that is not shy about dealing with themes such as racism, immigration, political extremism and sex, distinguishes itself from other visual novels and plays on a multi-branch story consisting of 150 different texts – which places a heavy burden on every decision made by an organization, and every conversation is told.
With more than 150 story branches to explore and game selections that make a difference with the potential for a total of 20 hours of play, Dry Sink hopes to inquire about a switch near you in Q1 2021. If you have a PC, you can watch a demo of the first two hours of the game Here.
