New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited on Thursday released the Diploma Training Certificate (Computer Based Test) Admit Card on its official website.

Candidates who have applied for the Diploma Training Writing Examination can now download the entry card for PGCIL Diploma Trainees through the official PGCIL website – PowerCreditia.com.

The selection process will be as per the details given below –

The final eligibility for selection should be determined on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in the written examination (100% weightage). The objective of the written test is (each question will have four answer options) a two-hour two-part type:

part 1 The professional knowledge test consists of 120 questions with specific questions of the respective discipline. For example, if the candidate has applied for a Diploma in Electrical Training (Electrical), the question will be from Electrical Discipline.

Part-2 Supervision of Diploma Trainer includes Aptitude Test (Electrical / Civil / Electronics and Communication) and General Aptitude Test for Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical) / Chemist. , Diagrams / Charts / Tables, Number Ability etc.

Staff Posts – . If the booking applies (i.e. OBC (NCL), SC, ST) to the Junior Technician Trainer.

For supervised posts – (Diploma Training (Electrical / Civil / Electronics & Communications) – To qualify against unreserved vacancies, candidates should obtain at least 40% marks in the written examination. (I.e. OBC (NCL), SC, SD), Eligibility Criteria in Written Examination 30% marks, with 25% marks in each section I and II separately

Final Qualification Candidates will be selected for all the posts on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test (100% weightage). The business test for the position of Chemist and Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical) will be of competent nature only. There will be no weightage on the trade test to calculate the final scores.

Candidates should note that all the questions bring equal marks (1 mark). Incorrect and multiple answers will result in 1/4 negative marks.

Those who qualify in the written test will be listed for trade test (where applicable) at a fixed rate, subject to a minimum cut-off percentage of 40% marks for UR vacancies and 30% for reserved vacancies including PWD. Candidates of the booked category who have not received any relaxation will be eligible to be called under the UR vacancy if the rate fixed for the UR vacancies falls.

Granting appointment

Appointment will be made to suitable candidates who are valid for six months and who have been embalmed in the qualifying order on the basis of need. The appointment of selected candidates will be conducted in accordance with the POWERGRID regulations and the standards of medical fitness and document verification in the pre-employment medical examination.
