Getting the Nintendo Switch Classic 2001 game next month

The Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite get the Classic 2001 game next month. Developer Yippy Entertainment & Publisher Calypso Media Announces December 4th Commandos 2 HD Remaster Switch and hit the switch light. As the name implies, the release is a renaming of 2001s Commandos2.

For strangers: Commandos2 Released in September 2001 via Pyro Studios and Eidos Interactive. Although the game’s console ports left plenty of room for improvement, in PC, the game was critically acclaimed, ranking 87th on the Metacritic, making it one of the highest rated games of 2001.

According to Yippy Entertainment and publisher Calypso Media, the remaster “pays homage to one of the most famous masterpieces of gaming.” Also, it has redesigned controls and a modernized user interface, which was built specifically for the hybrid system.

“Take control of an elite group of Allied commandos, they must descend deep into enemy territory and use their integrated expertise to complete a series of tasks that gradually demand it,” reads the official pitch of the game. “Explore the classic, interactive contexts that define the type of World War II and use unique skill packages to complete missions against possible contradictions.”

At the time of release, it is not clear how much the game will cost on the Nintendo Switch, but it should be within the ballpark of the ball 20, which will cost on Steam. Don’t be surprised if it gets a little more expensive, not only because the switch is new, but also because of the infamous “switch line”. It’s not clear how much space the game will need on the switch, but it will indirectly not be much.
