The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was also present during the Nintendo Spotlight presentation. Right now, the vastness of Hyrule already offers hundreds of hours of exploration, action, mysteries, legends and pure fun. But Nintendo is about to kick it up even higher with two DLC packs – “Master Trials” and “The Champions’ Ballad” – that’ll be available as an Expansion Pass ($19.99).
Planned to be released on June 30th, the content of DLC Pack 1 “Master Trials” (Trial of the Sword, Master Mode, Hero’s Path, Travel Medallion, Korok Mask and eight new pieces of armor) was already fully covered here. The trailer below details this and also introduces the DLC Pack 2 “The Champions’ Ballad” (adds a new dungeon, an original story, and even more new challenges).
In addition, Nintendo revealed four upcoming amiibo figurines honouring the Hyrule Champions: Daruk, Mipha, Revali, and Urbosa. More details will be announced at a later date.
