GameFreak’s new Tamagotchi-like Pokemon Magikarp Jump has landed in Japan and can be downloaded mostly in all countries on Android via the APK, but we were still waiting for an official introduction to our mobile stores. As of now, the game is available in North America. Here are the links to download it for free: iOS App Store, Android Play Store.
The Pokémon Company has shared a release trailer on its YouTube channel, along with an introduction of the game giving more details on its mechanics. We already know that the goal of the game is to train, feed and develop your beloved Magikarp to soar as high as possible during League Champion Tournaments.
But little did we know that during your training, if Magikarp gets knocked out or retires upon reaching Lv. 20, you’ll start over with a new generation of Magikarp. As a consolation, your new Pokémon will start off a little bit stronger than your last.
