Shakedown Hawaii brings back Arcade Challenges

One-man studio Vblank Entertainment is bringing back the craziness of Retro City Rampage with a spiritual successor called Shakedown Hawaii. The GTA-inspired action game is slated for 3DS and Switch, and it will bring back a great feature from the first title: Arcade Challenges.

Retro City Rampage was packed with over 40 Arcade Challenges asking players to do all kind of crazy stuff, like the self-explanatory “Flatten 50 in 50” or “Pick a Fight With Dynamite” challenges. And on the official Twitter account of Shakedown Hawaii, Vblank confirmed that this feature will make its way back. A short teaser showing one of these challenges in-game was shared. This one is called “Pedestrian Target Practice” and the goal is unsurprisingly to… well we let you discover by yourself.

Shakedown Hawaii is slated for 3DS and Switch but has yet to be given a release date.
