While being already available on PS4 and Vita, Marvelous’ action game Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star is now confirmed to be launched on Nintendo Switch later this summer. And to seal the deal, the developer released a slightly-NSFW debut trailer featuring an action-packed anime introduction along with some gameplay of the Switch version.
Exclusively for the Switch release, the third instalment in the Fate/Extra franchise will feature a new “Unshackled Bride” costume for Nero Claudius, 35 pieces of DLC (from PS4 and Vita versions) and multiple language support (Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean text).
The game will also be available in Japan in a Limited Edition, including an Aruko Wada-designed box and Nero travel pouch. Marvelous hasn’t confirmed anything regarding a release of this edition in the west.
Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star launches on Nintendo Switch in July 20th (Japan), 21st (Europe) and 25th (North America).
