Following today’s release of financial results for the 2016 fiscal year, Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima spoke as usual with shareholders and journalists to comment on the state of the company. And during this Q&A session, Nintendo’s president reassured everyone with a glimpse of what’s next for the Switch. As if Nintendo’s latest system wasn’t already suffering from stock shortages, you should prepare for longer store camping if you haven’t secured a unit yet, because sales are about to go up according to Kimishima.
A few minutes ago, Wall Street Journal reporter Takashi Mochizuki shared on his Twitter account the info Nintendo CEO repeatedly said that “more unannounced titles” are planned, which should boost Switch hardware sales. These games will undoubtedly be unveiled at E3 2017, but we don’t have a single clue on if they’re first, second or third party. It’s no big surprise here. We can expect a new wave of announcements during this year’s big show. The long wait is beginning once again.
Nintendo CEO said repeatedly there are "more unannounced titles" that should boost Switch itself's sales. Can't wait E3! (but I'm not going)
