First announced in January 2017 as part of the Nintendo Switch reveal event, the Japanese RPG Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is set to be one of the biggest Nintendo Switch titles of 2017. And to achieve the highest level of quality possible that would make this sequel a true masterpiece, Monolith Soft has buffed to the max its teams. We have today another proof of the massive amount of work put into the creation of the game through the sound production.
Composer Yasunori Mitsuda announced via his Facebook account that, thanks to the great work of its 150-people sound production team, the recording of all the titles of the game’s music is done. Now, it’s time for the mixing. For now, Mitsuda and his team are focusing only on the cut-scenes, which represent ‘only’ half of the tracks. He’ll probably keep us updated on when that’s done and the other half is starting to be mixed.
Also, Mitsuda hasn’t confirmed anything yet, but it appears that a Xenoblade Chronicles 2 OST is on the way. An official announcement is apparently coming soon.
