Fire Emblem Echoes: leaked gameplay footage hints at an upcoming female Corrin amiibo

Run leakers, the Nintendo ninjas are coming for you!

A few days ago, a CPSIA certificate appeared online, leaking the upcoming release of four new amiibo in the Super Smash Bros. series. However, there is only three amiibo confirmed by Nintendo so far: Bayonetta, Cloud & Corrin (male). Could a Corrin (female) version be on the way too? Well, we can’t know for sure until Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia gets released… or someone leaks the info.

That’s right, Fire Emblem Echoes is already available in some dark, dangerous, illegal places of the net, and early players are leaking video footage of it. So we discover today that there will indeed be two Corrin amiibo compatible with the upcoming tactical RPG, a male and a female version. Each one will summon its digital counterpart on the battlefield.

Of course, nothing is officially confirmed. Nintendo is probably already sending its ninjas to the guys’ place, so let’s just say that we’ll wait for the release of Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, on May 19th in Europe/North America exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
