Indie game Dex development halted on Wii U

There's a slight delay in the indie dev's schedule

There’s some news for Dreadlocks’ cyberpunk 2D-sidescrolling RPG “Dex”, but it’s not good news. Shared through an update on the Kickstarter page of the project, developers confirmed that Dex development temporarily halted for the Wii U version.

Their reason is to re-assign “human resources to more urgent tasks”, probably towards their new triple-A ghost hunting adventure Ghost Theory. But not to worry, the development of the Wii U version will be up and running again in a few weeks.

Dex is slated for the Nintendo Wii U eShop before the end of 2017.

“The development of WiiU version has stopped for a while because we had to re-assign our human resources to more urgent tasks. But it’s only temporary and works on WiiU will continue on beginning of May. We’re still aiming to release it this year.”
