Bloodstained Ritual of the Night confirmed for Nintendo Switch

Nintendo News just confirmed that Bloodstained will make its way on the Switch

Looks like the metroidvania Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is coming on the Switch. Studio Inti Creates (Mega Man Zero) and 505 Games haven’t given any official statement yet. The info comes directly from the Nintendo Switch News notice system, and relayed through NeoGAF forums. A user noticed that the Nindies Showcase visual listing all the upcoming games had a slight change, it included this new game.

For those who didn’t follow the announcement, Bloodstained is a spiritual successor of the Castlevania series. It follows the adventures of Miriam, an orphan afflicted by an alchemist’s curse that is slowly turning her skin into crystal. To stop this, Miriam must explore a demon-filled castle and locate Gebel, a summoner who has suffered from the same curse for a long time.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is expected to be released in 2018.
